Diolan Govender

Diolan Govender is a television presenter, a trained actor from the New York Film Academy, and an MC. With over a decade of experience, he has showcased his versatility, larger-than-life personality, and adept audience control technique in various domains such as talk shows, pageants, corporate events, and award ceremonies. Diolan catapulted into the spotlight in 2018 when he became the first Indian recipient of the Mister Teen World title at the World League of Beauty and Fashion in Turkey. After relocating to Johannesburg in 2020, Govender landed a breakthrough role on the popular youth programme YOtv on SABC 1. He made his acting debut in 2023 in the globally distributed Netflix series Miseducation, where he played Shaan, a charming individual with a flair for adventure. In 2024, he portrayed Matthew Claasen in the mockumentary pilot After School is After School. In 2026, he appeared as Lee on South Africa's biggest telenovela, Uzalo, on SABC 1. Diolan has featured in News24, TimesLive, SowetanLive, Saturday Star, The Citizen, Briefly News, The South African, SABC News, and MTV, among others.
